Desktop Support Specialist – Entry Level

job description:

RWB is looking for an enthusiastic Entry Level Desktop Support Specialist to support our help desk with business operations at our San Diego location. This position will report to the Director of Information Technology The Desktop Support Specialist role entails regular engagement with customers and employees.

Accountabilities:

  • Utilize project management skills to ensure all tickets are responded to within the appropriate time period, and proactively escalate internally as necessary
  • Ensure customer retention through delivery of exceptional service and proactive support
  • Make recommendations on process improvement that will aid the department in meeting its goals and objectives

responsibilities:

  • Continually monitor and evaluate project statuses and communicate consistently and effectively to internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, and with a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Answer incoming email and phone support requests and track requests in our ticketing system.
  • Use critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and solve tickets
  • Provide feedback to the product team on product enhancements and effectively document software bugs encountered in the process of providing support
  • Train and mentor new Help Desk Support Specialist to ensure success

qualifications:

  • Experienced in customer support
  • A college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Experienced with at least 1 year of SaaS support (multifamily industry desired but not required)
